I approach motorcycle building as an artistic endeavor. Rather than meticulously planning out each build, I allow the design to evolve organically, fostering a more spontaneous and creative process.
My fascination with motorcycles began at the age of 16. Growing up in a rural area with working parents and a large family, it made for chaotic mornings and tense commutes. Getting my motorcycle license and commuting to school was my first true experience of the freedom a motorcycle can provide.
Over the years, I refined my metal-shaping skills through repair and restoration, all the while envisioning the craft’s potential for creation. Though I never planned on it, motorcycles re-entered my life, becoming not just a path to physical liberation, but also a medium for creative freedom. Quickly evolving into the focal point of my work.
The sense of freedom that many experience through riding a motorcycle, I also find throughout the building process. The marriage of craft and spontaneous creation lies at the heart of my pursuit to build beautiful machines that evoke a unique and spontaneous experience for both viewer and rider.
